01 / overview

Why it exists

The NAS project holds the storage decisions behind the Homelab: ZFS, NFS exports, media paths, and the boundary between durable data and application hosts.

02 / build file

Why it matters

Storage is a dependency shared by Jellyfin, the media automation stack, and image exports. Giving it a project page makes those relationships easier to understand.

03 / build file

What belongs here

Future notes can cover storage layout, mount contracts, backup strategy, and restore tests without duplicating every application’s documentation.

current signal

Latest from the workbench

TrueNAS remains the storage layer for media and Immich-related exports in the documented topology.
