CoDesk gives ongoing Codex work a small, quiet place on the desk. Built around an 800 × 480 e-ink screen, it shows current work, usage, history, a small companion, and app information without needing another bright dashboard.
A glance, not another screen to babysit
The display is designed to tell me when something needs attention and otherwise stay out of the way. Attention states take priority over the secondary screens.
The working software path
There is an interactive browser preview, a Mac activity collector, and a self-hosted renderer. The collector passes selected status and aggregate usage, rather than the contents of conversations.
Where hardware meets software
Button events, screen cycling, and image downloads were verified in the build chat. The panel still appeared stuck, so physical refresh and the ribbon connection remain the next things to resolve.
