01 / overview

Why it exists

Pi-hole provides the local DNS foundation for the Homelab, including internal service names and network-wide filtering.

Role in the system

DNS is the connective tissue between devices, hosts, and services. Keeping it as a child project makes the dependency visible without making the main project index feel like a router console.

03 / build file

Documentation boundary

The public project story will focus on the role and design of the service. Sensitive records, credentials, and transient operational details stay out of the showcase.
